Always wanted to learn the harp?
The harp is such a rewarding instrument to play, especially as it sounds so beautiful right from the very first lesson. Even the most simple tunes can sound magical. I have taught students of all ages, from 5 years old up to retired adults. It's never too late to begin, so if you're looking for a harp teacher, send me a message to get started!
Online or in person
If you're not based in the Northampton area, or even if it's just more convenient for you, online music lessons are a great option. Particularly with the harp, virtual lessons work really well - all you need is a good internet connection and your own instrument.
Need some help choosing an instrument?
You'll need your own harp to practise on in between lessons, but choosing the right one can be a daunting prospect! I'm happy to talk you through the various options and give suggestions. And don't panic, you can start off by hiring one before you commit to a purchase.

PIANO LESSONS
Playing the piano is such a great skill to have, whether you want to play for your own enjoyment, or work towards exams, or perhaps to play with other musicians.
I aim to make piano lessons relaxed but productive, fun but focused. It will require commitment to practising between lessons, but that's all part of the enjoyment of learning.
My goal as a teacher is to eventually enable to you learn new pieces by yourself, so I emphasise note-reading and self-evaluation in lessons.
